María Díaz de la Cebosa, president of CIS University, celebrates the end of this phase of the class of 2022’s academic, together with family members, via her encouraging words.
Five Ukrainian families were forced from their homes due to the current situation in their country. The NGO “Cruzada Por Los Niños” and CIS University helped them escape and ever since their arrival here in Spain. The message delivered by Maria Diaz de la Cebosa focused on the true meaning of the word “greatness.” Just as is the case throughout life, in each of the stages of personal and professional growth, everything begins with “a personal and silent movement”, and thanks to this movement, CIS University students have become drivers who are traveling toward building a better world.
Family will always be the most important thing in this life, but family is not always merely those with whom we share blood or a last name, but rather also those individuals with whom we choose to share our journey. CIS University also represents “greatness”: the students, teachers, parents, alumni, and staff are all a part of the recipe for great change and represent this greatness as described by María Díaz de la Cebosa.
In her words: “may we not be convinced that greatness does not exist. May we never be convinced that greatness does not appear when humans need it the most.”
Dear class of 2022, “it is time to live, to LIVE with a capital L.”
Congratulations to everyone!
