The best way to find opportunities is to create them. However, even with a great idea, launching a business can be challenging without the right training, guidance, and funding.
That’s why CIS University and Asterius VC have teamed up to create Trigger Lab, a hands-on program designed to help entrepreneurs turn innovative projects into viable businesses. Through intensive training, expert mentorship, and direct investor access, participants will gain the skills and support needed to bring their ideas to life.
The ultimate goal? To help entrepreneurs craft and perfect their Pitch Deck so they can confidently present their projects to investors. During the Final Pitch event, participants will showcase their work to a panel of investors and Business Angels, receiving valuable feedback and potential funding.
Unlike other programs, participating in Trigger Lab does not require giving up equity or control of your company: if the idea is yours, the company remains entirely yours.
Limited spots are available, and applicants must complete an application form, submit a project (slide deck), and pass an interview to ensure a strong cohort of motivated entrepreneurs.
To make the program more accessible, Trigger Lab offers a 30% scholarship for the first 20 applicants and flexible payment options, eliminating financial barriers for top talent.
Program Structure: Turning Ideas into Action
Trigger Lab is built around hands-on learning, expert insights, and real-world experience. It includes structured in-person sessions, a full-day Creative Bootcamp, and multiple Pitch rehearsals. The program culminates in the Final Pitch event, where participants present to investors for feedback and funding opportunities.
The journey begins with a skills assessment to identify strengths and areas for growth. From there, participants will explore creativity techniques and idea generation, structure their business model using the Business Model Canvas, and receive personalized mentorship. They will also develop essential financial knowledge for planning and managing their project’s economic aspects, along with marketing and sales strategies to build a strong brand identity. Additionally, operational aspects such as supply chain management, inventory, and logistics will be covered to optimize business efficiency.
In the following stages, entrepreneurs will learn about talent management and corporate culture to lead teams effectively. They will delve deeper into strategic financial management, legal and regulatory compliance, and risk management to enhance the stability of their projects. Finally, they will refine their business model to make it more appealing to investors and customers.
The program concludes with two key events: the Creative Bootcamp, where participants will refine their presentation skills using storytelling techniques and effective communication, and the Final Pitch Event, where they will present their projects to investors and industry experts.
Alongside structured sessions, entrepreneurs will learn directly from successful founders and investors, including Andrés Martínez (Tito Customs) and Javier García (Asterius Venture Capital), as well as renowned faculty and business leaders.
