University Scholarship Program
At CIS University, we recognize and reward our students’ hard work and dedication. We conduct a personalized review of each application to determine the scholarship options available and help each student receive the scholarship that best fits their needs.
The scholarship program is highly competitive, and because funding is limited, students are encouraged to submit their applications as early as possible. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
Scholarships are automatically renewed as long as students continue to meet the eligibility requirements under which they were originally awarded.
DEADLINE REQUEST
The CIS University Scholarship Program is open year-round.
Applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. To be considered, all required documentation for the requested scholarship must be submitted in full, and applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for that scholarship.
Students beginning their university degree at CIS University (new students) may apply for a scholarship after receiving their admission letter through the Admissions Department. If a scholarship is awarded, students must complete their enrollment at CIS University within 10 days of the scholarship award.
The Scholarship Committee will notify newly admitted students of its decision within a maximum of 15 days.
Current students who have already started their studies at CIS University but have not yet applied for a scholarship may submit an application at any time.
Applications from current students—including new scholarship requests and requests for an increase to an existing scholarship—are reviewed at the end of each academic semester (Fall and Spring) and at the end of the academic year (during the month of July).
All scholarships are subject to the availability of the university’s scholarship fund.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS REQUEST
- Applicants must be admitted as a student (for new students) or currently enrolled (current CIS University students).
- Submit the requested documentation:
- Fully completed scholarship application form.
- Essay explaining the reasons behind the scholarship application.
- Be a full-time student (Fall and Spring).
- Meet the requirements of the requested scholarship.
- Not to be the beneficiary of any other type of aid destined for the same purpose.
- Students must have met all the financial requirements demanded by CIS University.
- Have no record of disciplinary sanctions during their academic career.
