Among the main new features is the launch of the &#8220;academic area coordinator,&#8221; aimed at streamlining processes and strengthening teaching quality. The Multimedia Classroom was also presented, equipped with an eight-monitor panoramic screen, which, along with other improvements, seeks to enrich both the academic experience and the university life of students.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The course began with a welcome message from CIS University President Mar\u00eda D\u00edaz de la Cebosa to the faculty. In her speech, she emphasized that &#8220;<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CIS University is moving forward stronger than ever, with our sights set on growth and excellence in all areas<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.&#8221; These words reflected optimism and commitment to the start of this new semester.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Afterward, Dean of Students Mary McCarthy shared with the faculty some of the key points of the new academic year. Among them, she highlighted the creation of academic area coordinators, whose mission will be to <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;more closely supervise the different courses and collaborate with faculty and students in each department to continue promoting academic excellence.&#8221;<\/span><\/i><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another highlight was the welcoming of the more than 200 new students joining this academic year. This increase reinforces the international character of the university, where 46% of the students come from Spain and 54% come from other countries, representing 53 different nationalities. These figures underscore CIS University&#8217;s commitment to a diverse and global academic environment, which fosters both the intellectual development and personal growth of its community.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The diversity of the faculty continues to be one of CIS University&#8217;s greatest assets. According to the Dean, &#8220;<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">43% of the faculty come from outside Spain<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,&#8221; while the Spanish faculty also bring solid international experience thanks to their studies or professional careers abroad. This combination enriches teaching with diverse perspectives and is reflected in a creative, dynamic, and open environment where learning transcends academic boundaries.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During orientation days, new students learned about the wide range of resources CIS University offers to support their academic goals. These include <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cis-spain.com\/en\/academics\/student-support\/cis-clubs\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">student clubs<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cis-spain.com\/en\/academics\/student-support\/language-exchange-program\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">language exchange programs<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cis-spain.com\/en\/academics\/student-support\/support-workshops\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">support workshops<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cis-spain.com\/en\/academics\/student-support\/mentorship-program\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mentoring<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cis-spain.com\/en\/academics\/student-support\/ambassadors-circle\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the ambassador<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cis-spain.com\/en\/academics\/student-support\/peer-tutor-program\/\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">peer tutor<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> program<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, as well as individualized <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cis-spain.com\/en\/academics\/student-support\/tutorials\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tutoring<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cis-spain.com\/en\/academics\/student-support\/coaching\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">coaching sessions<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
