Educating people is our objective and the fundamental reason for CIS. But it does not stop there; we aim to educate students in all aspects of their lives. For this reason we base our education not only on academics but also on ethics and moral values.
We believe in instilling social awareness and encouraging social responsability in our students by setting an example through our two NGOs Cruzada por los Niños (Crusade for the Children) and La Fundación International Studies (The International Studies Foundation).
The United Nations Global Compact is a call to companies and organizations to align their strategies and operations with the Ten Universal Principles on human rights, labor standards, the environment and the fight against corruption. It is mandated by the UN to promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the private sector.
Since our incorporation to the United Nations Global Compact in 2004, we have firmly supported this initiative, renewing our adherence every year because we firmly believe in the principles on which it is based, in terms of human rights, the environment, anti-corruption and labor, and because its ideas fully coincide with our educational philosophy.
