Academics Student support Support workshops
Support workshops
Because not all of our students learn the same or at the same pace, we make available for each student the Student Support Program.
In the afternoon from Monday to Thursday, the student will have supervised study sessions. The tutor will meet with the student to help him understand the content of a course as well as develop tools to empower the student to succeed such as skills management, organization, research, and exam preparation. Also, the program works with the student to ensure that he completes all pending assignments for grade improvement.
Writing Lab
Writing Lab
We offer students one-on-one meetings with professors to discuss their writings, and to have them reviewed by experts prior to submitting them. The experts offer constructive criticisms, and work together with our students to allow them to express themselves as well as possible. The Writing Lab is available two afternoons per week. The Writing Lab is optional, unless required for specific students by professors based on their academic performance.
MATH LAB
MATH LAB
The Math Lab, during two alternate days a week during the afternoon, helps students in small groups to solve their doubts in math courses. In this laboratory the tutors will help you to prepare for exams, class assignments or other projects.
The responsible teaching staff will write a brief report on the attendance and efficiency of the laboratory, a report that is discussed with the Academic Dean and considered in relation to the general evaluation of the student.
