Pacto Mundial

UN Global Compact
The CIS educational group institutions signed in July 2004 their committement to the UN Global Compact, aligning their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment, and anti-corruption.

The Global Compact is a purely voluntary initiative with two objectives:

  1. Mainstream the Ten Principles in business activities around the world.
  2. Catalyse actions in support of broader UN goals, such as the Milenium Development Goals (MDGs).

CIS is also associated to the spanish association network of UN Global Compact, "Asociación Española del Pacto Mundial (ASEPAM)", founded in November, the 15th. 2004.

THE 10 PRINCIPLES

The Global Compact's Ten Principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment, and anti-corruption, enjoy universal consensus and are derived from:

1. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
2. The International Labour Organizations.
3. Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
4. The United Nations Convention Against Corruption.

The Global Compacts asks companies to embrace, support, and enact within their sphere of influence, a set of core values in the areas of human rights, labour standards, the environment, and anti-corruption:
