Academic Solidarity Session at CIS
We had an academic solidarity session this morning at CIS hosted by partners and owners of The Seëlk, (Gonzalo Yuste y Enrique Solís), a company specializing in fashion, as well as the writer and coach, Pelayo Arango — all of whom shared their knowledge of how to create a business with students, in addition to their own personal experience as entrepreneurs.
All three work with our NGO Cruzada Por Los Niños on an initiative in which they will sell ties designed and created by The Seëlk, and one of Pelayo Arango’s books. All funds raised will go directly to the Sports and Achievement Academies that our NGO has in the Villaverde area of Madrid.
Our students here at CIS enjoyed both the talk, as well as the subsequent group dynamics — one in which entrepreneurship and solidarity remained front and center.
