Big-time Spanish Actors at CIS

Big-time Spanish Actors at CIS
Kerry Kennedy, President of Robert. F. Kennedy Human Rights, will be visiting CIS and the International Studies Foundation on May 11th.  CIS and the FIS are RFKHR’s local partners here in Spain, and we have jointly brought their SPEAK TRUTH TO POWER human rights education program to Spain.  More than 400 students in and around Madrid are already taking part in the program in high schools such as St. Anne’s and Brains.

One of the events that will take place on the 11th during Kerry Kennedy’s visit is a performance of Ariel Doorman’s Voices from Beyond the Dark, the play associated with the program itself and based on the STTP book written by Kerry Kennedy.  The play will be performed by well-known actors such as Ramón Langa, María José Goyanes, Ana Otero, Ángeles Martín, Montse Calles and José Luis Serrano, along with students from CIS – The College for International Studies, who could be seen rehearsing on Tuesday.

We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to all of the actors who are helping us out with this project!

There is no cost associated with attending the play, but we do need anyone interested in going to RSVP ahead of time with Nuria Sanchez at nuria.sanchez@cis-spain.com.  Space is limited.

We hope to see you there!
