Yesterday, the study abroad students of the Fall 2014 semester arrived to Madrid and were greeted at the airport by the Housing department of CIS. They were picked up by their host family, who had been previously selected for them according to their profile. The experience living in a Spanish family will allow them to learn about our culture, improve their Spanish and feel comfortable in their new environment.
The orientation at CIS was held before the start of classes, allowing students a chance to get to know each other and become familiar with Madrid. The study abroad department taught them about living in Madrid, including information about typical Spanish food, museums, public transportation, cool places to visit, excursions and other recommendations about how to get the most out of their stay in Spain.
Welcome to CIS!
