Course Description:

This course is intended for students whose skills are between upper intermediate and advanced level. It reflects the fast changing world of business with materials from authentic sources. Students study business topics and acquire proficiency in written and oral communication. Students learn about the causes of communication breakdowns. They analyze case studies, role play authentic business situations and begin to understand the effects different styles of management have on business outcomes.

 

Course Objetives:

  • To complement general English courses by focusing on business topics and vocabulary.
  • To improve the student’s communication skills within business contexts.
  • To assist the student in understanding the topics encountered in Communication and Business Courses
